Communication Leadership is a master’s program for professionals and recent graduates in communication and digital media fields. The program builds on a 20-year legacy, and is constantly updated to respond to global opportunities and emerging technologies.
Graduates are thoughtful and intentional professionals, equipped to critically engage with organizational challenges, and apply superb storytelling practices to effect change. The curriculum focuses on professional communication, with course offerings developed by industry leaders and top researchers.
The program offers two degree options:
Master of Communication in Communities and Networks (MCCN): The MCCN emphasizes building community, growing networks, and crafting organizational identity. Students learn the collaborative skills necessary to manage change, recognize and navigate interpersonal dynamics, and design effective strategies for engaging diverse publics.
Master of Communication in Digital Media (MCDM): The MCDM emphasizes content creation skills, literacy of emergent technologies, and proficiency of platforms. Students learn to craft intelligent engagement strategies using media production, distribution of content, and analytics.
Master of Communication in Communication Leadership (MCCL): The Master of Communication in Communication Leadership offers broad foundation in communication theory, practice, and methods for those looking to launch a new career in the communication industries.
