Ali is a Seattle native who graduated from the UW in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Having first joined the Board as a student representative when she was a Junior communications student, Ali has since embarked on the next phase of her life as a professional communicator, specializing in marketing and project management. As a Campaign Marketing Manager at SkyKick, an integrated platform that helps IT providers be more successful in the cloud, she uses her program and project management skills to build and manage marketing programs across the globe. Previously, she spent nearly four years at TUNE, where she started as a recruiting coordinator, and then quickly transitioned to building their employer brand and recruiting marketing program. As a UW student, Ali was heavily involved in the UW Communication Department, which included attending numerous lunch and learn events, career exploration programs and serving as UW PRSSA’s President. She can attribute several internships and her first job out of college to relationships she built with alumni through the Communication department.
